Championship Hockey in Paradise

Since opening on October 3, 1998, Amerant Bank Arena has defied expectations as one of the NHL's most successful southern venues. What many once saw as impossible — championship hockey in South Florida — became reality when the Florida Panthers brought home Stanley Cups in 2024 and 2025, forever cementing the arena's place in hockey history.

The $185 million arena, originally named National Car Rental Center, features 70 luxury suites and 2,623 club seats across Florida's largest indoor venue. Through multiple naming iterations and decades of entertainment, the arena has evolved from a bold experiment into a cornerstone of South Florida sports culture, attracting over 1.2 million visitors annually for Panthers games, concerts, and special events.
